Paintbox is a Kids Activity Center originally started in San Francisco and now moved to Rochester NY

Paintbox ran successfully in San Francisco under the direction of Nicki Harris and is now in Rochester NY!

Paintbox Kids Art Center at 3122 Monroe Ave offers Drop-In Play with art where you come with your kids to have fun and create, drop off classes for many ages and birthday parties. Our new location features a fully open floor plan with play on one side and Art on the other. Currently we do not have our chair lift installed at our second entrance so we are not wheelchair or stroller accessible, as there is a single flight of carpeted stairs leading up to the main space. But we will keep you updated on this.

For parents and caretakers who want to try something different than the library or museum, Paintbox is a great place to start. Each week the activities will shift with new things brought out. You can relax and spend the whole day at Paintbox exploring new things and creating.

At Paintbox we are all about imaginary play, sensory play, and getting messy! Let the kids make a mess HERE! We are set up for it! Our new space is now great for infants coming with siblings as well. Paintbox in general is meant for kids aged 2-10
